Magical birthday wishes by unicorn

Magical birthday wishes by unicorn

A unicorn wishes a little princess a happy birthday. my little niece is very girly princessy. I thought that for her birthday a unicorn would make the deal. But for a special princess, a special card is needed. What makes a perfect princess card? Glitter, stars, pink, shaker card. Instructions I created a background using distress ink to create a nice sky behind the scene. Then, I used cloud dies from my favorite things and the unicorn from Averyelle for the foreground. Within the shaker part, little stars (plenty of them!!!!). All the coloring has been made with Shinahn twin…

Cheeky monkey birthday

Cheeky monkey birthday

Our cheeky monkey is celebrating a birthday !!! Our nephew is truly a monkey, climbing and jumping everywhere. He might be 16 but his athletics abilities are just incredible. He has no fear. For his birthday I thought it would be quite fun to tell him that he is a cheeky monkey! Instructions For the background, I used mustard seeds distress inks in order to stamp the falling bananas. To give some depth to the card, I used the lawn fawn border on a piece of cardstock I prepared with green distress inks. This will be in relief compared to…

Lego wedding invites

Lego wedding invites

Wedding ! As some of you may know (and this explains my big silence), I got married in June. The main theme was Lego (shared hobby for me and my husband) and nearly everything in green and white. It was the perfect day I loved everything about it and, as you may imagine, a crafter might want to do some of the stuff by herself for her big day. Well I nearly did everything of the decoration by myself (I had help for the origami and the paper flowers, for which you'll find dedicated posts) which took me a lot…

Pizza my heart

Pizza my heart

My husband (who was then my fiancé) is Italian, which means he takes seriously Italian food and valentine’s day (and everything which is romantic). Truly, I have absolutely nothing to complain about and when I saw this set, I thought this would be a nice wink to him. Instructions Some parts of the set have been used to produce a background and kept it simple (truly the Olive you is just so fun !). Then, I just stamped the sentiment "olive you" multiple times using archival ink geranium in various directions. I mixed this with the pizza's slicer using archival ink…

Welcome little one!

Welcome little one!

All occasions are nice to celebrate but with all the tragic events happening lately, I am excited when these occasions are weddings or births. One of my colleague had a little girl and thought they would be touched by the initiative.           Instructions For this card, I used a stamp set from Papertrey ink which is versatile cause you can do both girls and boys with the same set. I liked this set at first sight because baby means more laundry!!! (and I would prefer more crafting than more laundry to be honest). And, to be…

Christmas cards mix

Christmas cards mix

I started making cards for Christmas and it was for a good cause. At work, a colleague took the initiative to sell Christmas cards for an orphanage in the area. I loved it (as I've always been crafty) and got hooked! Since then I have a dedicated space where I make the cards and I try to find the time to make more cards. Christmas is really something I like, the atmosphere, trying to find the gift that will surprise the others, cooking cookies, decorating the house ….and making cards with penguins, snowmen, reindeers, glitter. As you can see, in 2015…
