I like Birthday cards, there are so many possibilities, and it is sometimes hard to find how to deal with the creativity flow.
I tried to create a simple, colourful yet effective Birthday card. This was one of the first I made as well.
I first rounded the edges of the card and used distress inks to create the background.
For the chevrons background, I used the same distress inks to colour the chevrons and achieve this effect.
I then tried to stamp the monster on a piece of vellum with the sentiment.
Some stickles on it and here it is.
