Every card has a story, sometimes nice, sometimes little bit worrying. For me, the most important is to make people feel better or be happy with what I created.
In this case, my fiancé’s nephew had horrible headaches and we did not know what he had.
We thought a little card would help him feel better. What could be better than monsters for a 4 1/2 years old? The little words inside would help him too but that was not my part J
I used 2 stamp sets “Uplifting” for the clouds and the banner and “Monster party” for the monsters by Create a Smile stamps which I then fussy cut.
I then colored them with Chameleon pens. These are pens that allow you to have a gradient by using only one single pen! It is a fantastic innovation and I like the fact you have 2 nibs, a pen one and a brush one. A little adaptation period is needed to know how to obtain the desired gradient but it is fairly easy.
I then sprayed the background with colorshine which gave a nice shimmery effect. For the balloons I used stickles.
