I started making cards for Christmas and it was for a good cause. At work, a colleague took the initiative to sell Christmas cards for an orphanage in the area. I loved it (as I’ve always been crafty) and got hooked! Since then I have a dedicated space where I make the cards and I try to find the time to make more cards.
Christmas is really something I like, the atmosphere, trying to find the gift that will surprise the others, cooking cookies, decorating the house ….and making cards with penguins, snowmen, reindeers, glitter.
As you can see, in 2015 I made quite a few and I tried a lot of techniques but one which is by far my favourite is the heat-embossing.
Depending on the christmas cards, I used various techniques which range from heat embossing, collage, cutting, stamping. I like the fact that none of the cards are identical. If you want to know more about one card, please comment and I’ll make a post for this technique.
