All occasions are nice to celebrate but with all the tragic events happening lately, I am excited when these occasions are weddings or births.
One of my colleague had a little girl and thought they would be touched by the initiative.
For this card, I used a stamp set from Papertrey ink which is versatile cause you can do both girls and boys with the same set. I liked this set at first sight because baby means more laundry!!! (and I would prefer more crafting than more laundry to be honest). And, to be honest, nothing is cuter than little baby clothes.
For the card background, I used colorshine in the pink colors and for the sky I used distress inks.
The twine is from the Tim Holtz range and it brings depth and volume to the card. The clothes have glued to this twine and thus are moving a little bit from the background.

When applying the colorshine on the background, let it dry and then put it between 2 sheets of paper and weights. This should help having a flat background.
